Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our Advisory team as the Industry Advisor Director for oil and gas. In this role, you will collaborate with customers and a number of cross-functional groups within Salesforce. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing a strong point of view and supporting strategy for oil and gas.

Staying abreast of industry trends and identifying the best opportunities for Salesforce growth in the industry.

Engaging with customers and collaborating with field leadership teams on strategic customer engagements, approaches, industry events, and localized initiatives.
-
Advising C-level executives at customers and ensuring effective listening to the voice of the customer.
The ideal candidate will have experience across multiple roles within oil and gas, specifically:

Experience across up, mid and downstream, oilfield services, retail fuels, and other related domains.
-
Intersection of experience with technology across operations, customers, assets, and AI-related digital transformation initiatives.

Comprehensive knowledge of industry trends and their impact on customers.
-
Familiarity with Salesforce's solutions and capabilities in the manufacturing market.

Excellent presentation skills as the face of the industry and Salesforce.

Industry Expertise: Leverage deep industry experience to bring a non-sales perspective.

Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with AMER OU leaders to align priorities and strategies.

Customer and Exec Engagements: Engage customers in both 1:1 and 1:many formats.

Account Strategy: Act as a trusted advisor and partner to sales teams.

Qualifications

Industry expertise working in, owning a P&L for, or consulting and implementing technology for the oil and gas industry.

Managerial experience with geographically dispersed teams.

Well-versed in overall oil and gas challenges and technology trends.

Held an active role in a firm's digital transformation.

Ability to create thought leadership content and presentation material.

Strong communication and writing skills.
