Role Description

The Director of Growth and Partnerships will be part of the senior leadership team and responsible for developing complex company strategies and technologies.

  • Create, lead, and implement the company's overall revenue growth strategy with a focus on booking new business.
  • Cultivate new business opportunities and work closely with EI technical staff to develop customer solutions.
  • Serve as the company spokesperson to industry and represent the company at government and industry conferences, trade shows, and other customer meetings.
  • Develop and own the company's sales pipeline and forecast, customer relationships, and capture strategies.
  • Set and achieve company bookings and revenue targets.
  • Work with customers to identify opportunities for EI's solutions and develop program outlines.
  • Author and submit proposals, quotes, and responses to requests for information.
  • Establish and manage partnerships with potential subcontractors and prime contractors.
  • Translate customer needs into technical/program requirements.
  • Guide customers on how EI's capabilities can be adjusted to meet specific mission goals.
  • Provide market and competitive intelligence to inform corporate strategy and product enhancements.
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, industry events, and outreach activities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in government business development in artificial intelligence, machine learning, intelligence and defense technology, and/or data analytics.
  • Strong understanding of US defense and intelligence community procurement, budget, and vendor evaluation processes.
  • Applied knowledge and experience with opportunity qualification, capture strategies, and customer relationship development.
  • Deep understanding of the US government AI and technology ecosystem.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create proposals, customer-facing presentations, white papers, and conference/workshop presentations.
  • Ability to work in an inclusive culture with a diverse team including people with disabilities.
  • Top Secret Clearance required with TS/SCI eligibility.

Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to background investigation.
  • This position requires an active TS security clearance with the capability to obtain an SCI.
