Role Description
This is a critical role in driving growth in our network of compounding pharmacies. The Director will play a pivotal role in managing a team of provider relations representatives and overseeing relationships with top providers across our pharmacy network. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a deep understanding of the compounding sales industry.
Salary: $120K base with $40K+ uncapped commission
Job Activities and Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of provider relations representatives to achieve sales targets and exceed performance metrics. Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure the team delivers exceptional service to providers and meets established KPIs.

Prescriber Management:
Collaborate with provider relations representatives to develop tailored strategies to nurture these key relationships, address their needs, and drive mutual growth and success.

Revenue Growth:
Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding service offerings within existing accounts. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of providers and enhance customer value.

Performance Management:
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of account management strategies and initiatives. Implement corrective actions as needed to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, account management, operations, and clinical, to align efforts and drive synergy across the organization. Foster a culture of collaboration, communication, and teamwork to achieve shared goals.

Process Improvement Initiatives:
Lead efforts to identify, evaluate, and optimize the sales processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and provider satisfaction.

Training and Development Programs:
Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the provider relations representatives, focusing on areas such as sales techniques, relationship management, product knowledge, and industry trends.

Business Development:
Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand the company's footprint and drive revenue growth within the Human Health industry. Leverage industry knowledge and market insights to prospect, qualify, and onboard new providers to the network.

Strategic Prescriber Management:
Manage relationships with key providers within the network and industry, serving as a point of contact and trusted advisor. Develop customized solutions to address their unique needs and challenges, driving revenue opportunities and fostering long-term partnerships.

Relationship Building:
Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including prescribers and decision-makers, to position the company as a preferred partner for compounding pharmacy solutions. Collaborate closely with internal account management teams to deliver seamless, high-quality service and exceed provider expectations.

Market Analysis:
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments affecting the compounding pharmacy market. Conduct market analysis and leverage insights to inform strategic decision-making, identify growth opportunities, and mitigate risks.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field. Pharm. D. preferred.

Proven track record of success in sales and business development within the compounding industry.

Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to effectively coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.

Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Deep understanding of compounding pharmacy operations, regulations, and industry trends preferred.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Prescriber Retention Rate: This KPI measures the percentage of healthcare providers retained within the network over a specific period.

Revenue Generation: This KPI assesses the total revenue generated by the Director, 503A Provider Relations (Human Health) and their team.

Team Metric Performance: This KPI evaluates various performance metrics across the team, such as sales targets achievement, provider satisfaction scores, activity levels (meetings, calls, emails), and new account acquisition.
