[Hiring] Digital Sales Representative @FERGUSON

Role Description

As a Digital Sales Representative, your job will be taking care of the customer - “be the hero” as we say here at Ferguson Home Digital. You will be held accountable for your call/chat quality and performance metrics within service. We expect each and every sales representative to be present, invested, and committed to the overall customer experience.

• Handle inbound call/chat volume, with expectations of taking between 40-50 inbound customer calls/chats per 8-hour workday.
• Complete all Brand Sales Trainings (BST) each month.
• Meet 85% schedule adherence to assigned schedule as referenced in Genesys phone system.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards through call quality, problem solving, ownership over any customer issue, and going above & beyond to address all needs.
• Maintain customer records by logging and retaining correct and precise information in Salesforce.com.
• Proactively identify and report website, process, product page, or post‑call issues or bugs encountered during your daily workflow.
• Work with a team of 15-20 other sales associates.
• Success will be measured through call quality, and profit dollars generated monthly.
• Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage guests.
• All BST’s must be completed to be eligible for promotions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of prior sales, retail, or customer service experience, or at least 3 months in a Ferguson Home Digital Customer Service job profile.
• Be highly detail oriented and have superior interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience using critical thinking tools to solve customer issues.
• Self-motivated, great teammate, and fast learner.
• Systematic and adaptable approach.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office and Google Office suites.
• Ability to type 40+ WPM for phone and 45+ WPM for chat.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Reliable and consistent internet connection.

Requirements

• This is a full‑time role requiring 40 hours per week, scheduled over 5 days.
• Evening and weekend shifts are common and should be expected.
• We use a quarterly Schedule Bid to align business needs with employee shift preferences.
