Role Description
As a Henry Schein Dental Transition Sales Consultant, you will be representing, supporting, and advising a dentist through one of the most important transactions in their career. This critical position is to be that expert and key advisor - responsible for selling and providing brokerage and other dental practice transition and valuation services.

Understand the operations of a dental practice, process of a transaction as well as practice acquisition financing and communicate that knowledge effectively.

Provide consultation to aid practitioners in planning for the future sale of their practice/business.

Sell company services to practice owners while delivering a customized and superior client experience throughout the process of evaluation and transition.

Manage stresses and uncertainties from initial conversations through post-closing contacts.

Achieve annual valuation, brokerage and other HS DPT services goals as established with HS DPT Leadership and your direct supervisor.

Communicate and execute HS DPT policy and practice.

Comply with terms and conditions of transition and related services including the responsibility for collection of and secure storage and transfer of required documents and customer signatures.

Develop and maintain quality relationships with Henry Schein Dental TSMs.

Coordinate and attend meetings (in-person and virtual) and closings.

Maintain continuous and timely contact with clients and other parties throughout a transaction to address questions and ensure timely progress toward closing.

Seek out, attend and present information at dental study clubs and society meetings, HSD sales meetings, and local, regional and statewide dental related meetings.

Train Henry Schein TSMs on HS DPT services and products.

Utilize HS DPT database and/or C.R.M. system and related tools, as directed.

Attend all HS DPT internal training and scheduled meetings, in-person and virtual.

Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
Qualifications

Condition of employment is maintaining state specific real estate licenses in good standing where required by law.

Sales knowledge, dental industry and transition knowledge, practice financing experience, or real estate sales experience preferred.

Ability to communicate and present on the telephone, in writing, by email and in-person in a consistent, polished and professional manner.

Comfort with and experience in speaking/presenting to individuals/small groups through larger audiences.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.

Minimum Work Experience

Prior sales and/or dental experience preferred.

An active real estate license is strongly preferred, however not required.
Preferred Education

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
Travel / Physical Demands

Travel typically less than 40-50% including after hours and evenings.
