Role Description

HubSpot’s mission is to help millions of organisations grow better. As the SEA Country Sales Leader, you will lead our full sales organisation across Small Business, Mid-Market, and Corporate. This Director role is one of the most critical in JAPAC, charged with delivering our FY26 SEA growth strategy, scaling a multi-product business, and ensuring HubSpot becomes the go-to customer platform for businesses of all sizes in the region.

The SEA market is a key growth engine for HubSpot globally, with significant opportunities both down and upmarket. This role will require balancing executional excellence with long-term strategic transformation across Asia, embedding AI in every sales motion, strengthening our partner ecosystem, and championing our HEART values to build an inclusive, connected, and high-performing culture.

  • Accelerate Upmarket Momentum – capture flagship enterprise customers and grow ARR from 200+ employee companies, focusing on industry specialisation (e.g. Government and Financial Services) and partner co-selling.
  • Scale Downmarket Efficiently – lead automation and AI to enable high-velocity SB and MM teams, reduce non-revenue work, and improve productivity.
  • Champion Platform Selling – unify growth on HubSpot by embedding AI and multi-Hub adoption into every deal, strengthening our value narrative from pitch to renewal.
  • Lead with AI – drive AI fluency so reps and managers adopt it daily to improve coaching, productivity, and customer value.
  • Inspire, lead, and develop leaders-of-leaders – grow, coach, and retain a high-performing manager layer delivering sustainable results across segments.
  • Foster a customer-first culture – ensure decisions start with customer outcomes and build HubSpot’s reputation as the most trusted growth platform in SEA.
  • Champion HEART values and Culture Commitments – role model HubSpot’s values, embedding inclusion, belonging, and wellbeing into how we lead and grow people.
  • Represent HubSpot externally – build credibility through engagement with customers, partners, industry groups, and media, amplifying our leadership in SEA.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with proven success managing across SB, MM, and Corporate segments. SaaS/tech industry experience is preferred.
  • A track record of delivering sustained revenue growth while navigating complex, high-growth environments.
  • Successfully built and scaled second-line leadership, prioritising leader development.
  • Skilled at driving upmarket expansion while balancing downmarket velocity plays and new market growth.
  • Fluent in AI-driven sales motions, embedding new technology into frontline sales execution, coaching, and customer engagement.
  • Experience with partner engagement and ecosystem co-selling, leveraging partners to accelerate growth and expand market reach.
  • Excel in setting strategic direction, managing complexity, and leading through ambiguity, while remaining data-driven and customer-obsessed.
  • Passionate about building inclusive, high-performing teams, and committed to living and leading with HubSpot’s HEART values in every interaction.
