Role Description

You own the business, managing enterprise and mid-market sales teams.

Design the go-to-market for your market and drive cross-functional work with Marketing, Partnerships, Product, Legal, Risk, and Operations.

Build, hire, and lead the local sales team.

Recruit and scale Account Executives: Enterprise AEs and Mid-Market AEs.

Set the hiring bar high and shape the culture and performance of the market.

Manage, coach, and develop your team: pipeline reviews, deal coaching, performance management.

Remain involved in strategic enterprise opportunities while shifting focus toward team leadership and market development.

Own the local new business number across both segments.

Define the right coverage model between segments.

Own the country P&L and be accountable for business performance.

Report on performance vs. business plan monthly to HQ.

Build and execute the local GTM, defining the next 12 to 18-month market plan.

Adapt the playbook to local dynamics.

Drive cross-functional squads to identify growth needs.

Represent Alma and build the local ecosystem.
Qualifications
-
Native or bilingual fluency in German; professional-level English.

8+ years of experience in B2B commercial roles, with a track record in enterprise sales.

Experience managing a sales team - coaching, hiring, and developing senior AEs.

Comfortable operating in a matrix environment.

Based in France or Germany, with a strong local network in commerce, retail, or adjacent sectors.
Requirements

Background in fintech, payments, SaaS, or financial services (strong plus).

Experience in a fast-scaling company where the playbook wasn't fully written yet (strong plus).

Has worked directly with cross-functional teams to shape product or go-to-market decisions (strong plus).
