[Hiring] Commercial Lead @Memora

Role Description

Memora is building the operating system for one of the oldest and most overlooked categories on earth: the cemetery. You'll report to and work closely with the CEO, with the mandate to lead the Danish market and build the commercial foundations we scale from.

• Lead opportunities from first conversation through qualification, procurement, close and handover.
• Build relationships across the sector - from gardeners and cemetery leaders to parish councils and deaneries - and turn successful customers into references, case studies and advocates.
• Bring the profession together through experience groups, working sessions, dinners and industry events where customers can learn from each other and shape the product.
• Turn what you learn in the field into clear input for product and engineering, and close the loop with customers.
• Establish the commercial playbook (including pricing, pilots, pipeline discipline and forecasting) that future hires will inherit.

Qualifications

• You're comfortable with cold outreach and have built your own pipeline without relying on SDRs, inbound or warm introductions.
• You've personally closed complex deals from first conversation to signature, ideally with cautious buyers and multiple decision-makers.
• You build credibility and trust quickly, including with senior stakeholders, and are comfortable operating as a peer rather than a supplier.
• You're comfortable working without a playbook: setting your own priorities, building the process as you go and being accountable for the result.
• You speak fluent Danish. We work in English internally.

Requirements

• Even better if you've sold into public institutions or another trust-dependent, complex sector.
• You've navigated procurement, system migrations or replacing an incumbent solution.
• You know the Danish Folkekirken, cemetery sector or its wider network.
