Role Description
We are hiring Commercial Account Executives to help accelerate adoption of HeyGen across fast-growing companies. This is a full-cycle closing role with a heavy emphasis on self-sourced pipeline. You will identify high-potential accounts, run creative outbound campaigns, qualify opportunities, lead discovery, demo the product, manage deal cycles, and close new business.
This is not a traditional enterprise AE role with long procurement cycles and large account teams. We are looking for closers who are comfortable moving fast, testing new outbound ideas, creating urgency, and winning customers through persistence, creativity, and strong business discovery.
You will sell both the HeyGen web app and HeyGen API, helping customers understand how AI video can transform:

What Youβll Do

Build your own pipeline:
Run high-volume, high-quality outbound into target accounts, including cold email, phone, LinkedIn, personalized video, account research, trigger-based outreach, and creative campaign ideas.

Own the full sales cycle:
Manage opportunities from first touch to close, including prospecting, qualification, discovery, product demos, business-case development, negotiation, legal/procurement coordination, and handoff to Customer Success.

Sell business outcomes, not just AI features:
Help customers understand how HeyGen can reduce video production costs, speed up content creation, improve localization, personalize customer communication, and unlock new video workflows.

Sell across web app and API use cases:
Some customers will want to use HeyGen directly through the web app, while others may want to integrate it into their own product or platform using APIs.

Move fast and create urgency:
Run fast commercial sales cycles, keep deals moving, and create momentum with busy buyers.

Partner with PLG, growth, product, and customer teams:
Work with product-led growth signals, self-serve users, product usage data, customer requests, and inbound interest to identify expansion and conversion opportunities.

Maintain strong pipeline discipline:
Keep CRM data clean, forecast accurately, manage next steps, and understand the difference between real pipeline and hopeful pipeline.
Qualifications

5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including at least 3 years in a closing role.

A track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a commercial or high-velocity sales motion.

Experience generating a meaningful portion of your own pipeline through outbound prospecting.

Strong discovery skills and the ability to connect product capabilities to business pain.

Comfort selling to marketing, sales, customer success, L&D, product, operations, founder, or technical stakeholders.

A high-agency, builder mindset; you do not wait for perfect playbooks.

Strong written communication skills; your outbound emails, follow-ups, and deal recaps should be clear, sharp, and persuasive.

Curiosity about AI, video, creative workflows, and API-driven products.
Nice-to-Haves

Experience selling PLG, usage-based, API, developer platform, creative software, marketing technology, sales technology, or AI products.

Experience selling into marketing, localization, customer education, learning and development, sales enablement, ecommerce, media, or product teams.

Experience using video, personalization, or creative outbound to source opportunities.

Experience working in an early-stage or high-growth startup environment.
