[Hiring] Chief Revenue Officer @Nexthire

Role Description

K21 Academy is hiring a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to own and scale our revenue engine. This role involves managing the entire revenue process of a proven, profitable business.

• Own the full conversion funnel — webinar → application → discovery call → close.
• Manage the sales team — hiring, coaching, compensation design, and performance of closers and setters.
• Oversee marketing & demand conversion, pricing execution, retention, and lifetime value.
• Focus on unit economics & margin — CAC, payback, LTV:CAC, contribution margin.
• Develop acquisition-channel strategy and revenue forecasting.

Qualifications

• Experience scaling a business from low single-digit millions to $10M+ with measurable contributions.
• Background in high-ticket, remote-close sales, managing a $5,000+ webinar/application/phone-or-Zoom-close funnel.
• Experience in tech-upskilling, certification, bootcamp, career-transition education, or high-ticket coaching/info-products.
• Fluency in financial metrics such as CAC, payback, LTV:CAC, and contribution margin.
• Experience running paid acquisition at scale and diversifying beyond a single channel.
• Proven ability to build and compensate a high-performing closing team.
• Availability to lead a team serving the US & Canada during US business hours (approximately 10:00 PM–8:00 AM IST for India-based candidates).

• Experience in AI, Cloud, or IT education (nice to have).
• Managed an outcome or placement guarantee (nice to have).
• Experience smoothing a seasonal revenue business (nice to have).
