Role Description
We are looking for a Channel Sales Engineer to build, implement, and manage a top-tier SE strategy within our fast-growing channel ecosystem. In this role, you will be the primary technical resource for our Systems Integrator (SI) and Public Sector partner community, enabling them to successfully position, demonstrate, and deploy Torqβs AI SOC platform.

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for SI and Public Sector channel partners, providing pre-sales engineering support.

Develop and deliver partner enablement programs, including technical training, certification support, and go-to-market playbooks.

Lead and support joint technical engagements with partners and their end customers.

Partner with channel sales leadership and product groups to drive operational excellence.

Build and maintain strong technical relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations.

Collaborate with Torqβs product, engineering, and customer success teams to relay partner and customer feedback.

Represent Torq at industry conferences, partner forums, and government events.

Support partner-led RFP and RFI responses for Public Sector opportunities.

Develop reusable technical assets demo environments and integration guides.

Promote best practices in channel sales engineering methodology.
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or channel technical roles.

Experience with AI SOC, AI-driven security automation, or autonomous threat response platforms is highly desirable.

Demonstrated experience working with or through Systems Integrators (SIs), MSSPs, or Value-Added Resellers (VARs).

Familiarity with Public Sector procurement processes and compliance frameworks.

Hands-on experience with Public Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Proficiency with scripting and programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, and REST APIs.

Excellent knowledge of cybersecurity solutions including SIEM, SOAR, EDR, Cloud Security, and Email Security.

Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts as they apply to security operations.

Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts clearly.

Proven ability to manage multiple partner engagements and projects simultaneously.

Experience working with Fortune 1000 enterprises and/or large government agencies.

Strong relationship management skills.

Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
Requirements

Prior experience in a channel-focused role at a cybersecurity or cloud infrastructure vendor.

Hands-on experience with AI SOC platforms or security automation tools.

Familiarity with LLM-based security applications or autonomous incident response technologies.

Experience designing or demonstrating AI-driven automation use cases for SOC teams.

Existing relationships with major SI partners or Public Sector-focused resellers.

Active security clearance or clearance eligibility.
