Role Description
The primary purpose of this position is to drive consistent Center Store execution across an assigned district through field support, coaching, and execution validation. This role partners closely with store leadership and store associates to reinforce operational standards, strengthen merchandising discipline, and support performance outcomes related to sales, profit, labor effectiveness, and known loss reduction. The incumbent serves as a key operational partner to the District Manager and collaborates with the Regional Operations Center Store Specialist and Store Support Center (SSC) partners to ensure priorities are communicated clearly and executed consistently at the store level within the assigned district. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.
This position has multi-unit responsibility. The final position's placement location will be determined based on the selected candidate's residence location. There are multiple positions (one position per District) for this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support consistent execution of Center Store operational standards across all stores in the assigned district by providing hands-on field support, coaching, and execution reinforcement.

Conduct regular store visits to validate Center Store readiness, including planogram integrity, merchandising discipline, endcap and promotional display execution, backroom organization, and overall store conditions in Center Store work areas.

Drive improved store-level execution by identifying gaps, reinforcing expectations, and partnering with store leadership to implement practical solutions.

Provide follow-up support to ensure progress is sustained and standards remain consistent over time.

Support district performance improvement with a focus on sales growth, profit/margin performance, and labor effectiveness.

Review Center Store performance trends with store leadership and partners, translating results into actionable execution behaviors that improve operational performance and financial outcomes.

Cascade district and regional operational priorities to stores with clarity and consistency.

Reinforce alignment between operational direction and merchandising initiatives to reduce conflicting priorities and strengthen execution discipline.

Support improved Store Operations Review (SOR) performance and Center Store operational compliance by reinforcing readiness standards, audit expectations, and disciplined execution.

Promote shrink control practices through consistent execution of Center Store routines, inventory discipline, and store-level standards that reduce loss and improve profitability.

Support training and development efforts by reinforcing Center Store execution standards, routines, and expectations with store leadership and store associates.

Demonstrate and reinforce customer-first behaviors and service expectations by modeling strong customer experience standards.

Conduct routine competition checks to evaluate competitor execution, pricing and promotional activity, merchandising standards, and customer service practices.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business Retail Management, Food Service Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.

Minimum of four (4) years' experience in retail operations, Fresh department leadership, merchandising execution, inventory processes, or store leadership roles required.

Experience supporting multiple locations or district execution routines preferred.
