Role Description
ScienceLogic is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for outbound prospecting and supporting our field sales teams. The candidate will develop new business opportunities via metric driven prospecting efforts and opportunity qualification. Candidates must have strong business development and communication skills combined with a basic understanding of technology infrastructure.

Develop and aggressively identify sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calls & relationship development.

Understand and effectively communicate ScienceLogic value propositions.

Exhibit superior tenacity and objection handling skills.

Develop and maintain relationships with prospects and partners in the IT Operations sector.

Utilize Salesforce.com with emphasis on lead process and development.

Generate leads by identifying and developing new business prospects from multiple sources including prospect lists, discovery, and individual research.

Qualify leads in Salesforce.com, ScienceLogic lead databases, and resources set forth by the Inside Sales Management, that may be generated from sales, tradeshows, marketing, referrals, partners, website, consultants, and call campaigns.
Qualifications

One to three years of experience within an inside sales organization.

Effective time management and ability to reach decision-makers and qualify sales opportunities.

Ability to call into different industries.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, Outreach, Cognism, and other sales playbooks.
