Role Description
As a Broker Relationship Manager, you'll play a key role in building, managing, and growing Merchant Growth’s broker partner network. This individual will understand the broker ecosystem, drive volume through strong partnerships, and deliver an outstanding experience to both brokers and internal teams.
Main Functions

Broker Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of broker partners.

Build strong, long-term relationships through consistent communication, responsiveness, and trust.

Act as a strategic partner to brokers by understanding their business models and helping them grow.

Deal Flow & Pipeline Management

Support brokers through the full deal lifecycle, from submission to funding.

Review incoming deals for completeness, accuracy, and quality.

Coordinate with underwriting and operations to ensure efficient deal progression.

Identify trends in deal performance and recommend improvements to increase approval and funding rates.

Partner Enablement & Growth

Onboard new brokers and ensure they are trained on Merchant Growth’s products, processes, and expectations.

Educate partners on best practices, product positioning, and deal structuring.

Proactively identify opportunities to grow volume with high-potential partners.

Internal Collaboration

Work closely with underwriting, operations, and leadership to ensure alignment on priorities.

Provide feedback from the broker channel to improve processes, tools, and policies.

Support the development and rollout of new broker initiatives, programs, or technology.

Performance & Accountability

Manage broker performance against agreed KPIs (volume, quality, conversion, responsiveness).

Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting.

Identify and address performance gaps early with clear action plans.
Qualifications
-
3+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or broker/channel management.

Experience in alternative lending, financial services, or fintech strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of broker-driven sales models.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
