Role Description

Business & Finance Consulting, a Swiss consulting company specialized in development finance, is looking for a Banking Analyst / Business Development Expert (with fluent English and Russian). This is an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the international development finance sector by supporting the development of proposals for projects funded by prestigious organizations such as the EBRD, EIB, KfW, IFC/WB, ADB, AFD.

• Location: home-based/remote
• Input: full-time or part-time (both options are possible)

Your Duties:

• Proposal Development: Support the preparation of proposals in the financial development sector for emerging countries in response to tenders issued by international development organizations (donors).
• Expert Analytics and Assessment: Design targeted search strategies of suitable experts based on the project requirements, conduct structured evaluations of experts’ profiles, and prepare comparative assessment matrices to support evidence-based selection decisions.
• Recruitment: Lead the screening and recruitment of international consultants for complex advisory assignments in the banking and financial sector and oversee the preparation of all relevant documents.
• Stakeholder Communication: Represent BFC in direct communication with international consultants and partners.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's degree
• Expertise: Familiarity with at least one of the following areas: banking, MSME finance, economic development, green/sustainable finance and development, agricultural finance.
• Experience: Previous experience in one of the following areas: banking, development finance, finance/banking-related project.
• Languages: Fluent English and Russian is a must; Fluent French is an advantage.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and communication skills to present ideas in a structured and clear way.
