Role Description

This role is only for people residing and with eligibility to work in the Canada or the USA.

We are looking for a high-performing BDR currently working at an AI SaaS company who wants to move into a closing role. This position starts with a strong pipeline-generation focus, similar to a BDR role, but with a clear path to becoming a full Account Executive within approximately six months.

• Initially focus on generating opportunities and qualifying prospects
• As you demonstrate success, begin owning parts of the sales cycle and closing deals

What You Will Do

• Pipeline Generation (Primary Focus Initially)
• Prospect into target accounts using email, LinkedIn, calls, and other outreach methods
• Identify and engage decision makers in ecommerce and retail
• Book discovery meetings and build qualified pipeline
• Qualify prospects and identify potential use cases
• Conduct early discovery conversations
• Work closely with senior sales leadership on deal progression
• Transition to Account Executive
• Once ramped, begin running product demos
• Manage smaller opportunities end-to-end
• Participate in deal strategy and negotiations
• Close deals and manage your own pipeline

Qualifications

• Currently working as a BDR/SDR at an AI SaaS company
• 2–3 years of SaaS sales development experience
• Proven ability to generate meetings and pipeline through outbound prospecting
• Experience selling or positioning AI-driven products or platforms
