Role Description

The Area Business Leader (ABL) will lead a team of Neurology Account Specialists (NAS) that are part of a diverse team of professionals supporting this important launch and will be responsible for building a dynamic team to develop and execute business plans for their assigned geographies.

Build an elite team of NASs and lead demand generation to meet or exceed sales objectives.

Convey complex clinical information to customers and key stakeholders regarding FDA-approved indications of this novel therapy.

Implement and oversee local business plans to achieve regional objectives.

Ensure NASs educate customers on the simplest patient pathway to therapy within their assigned area.

Serve as primary point of contact for a small number of key institutions, working cross-functionally to secure product access.

Foster key stakeholder relationships within assigned institutions.

Lead NASs to meet or exceed sales targets within these facilities.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (BA, BS or equivalent) required.

Minimum 7 years of pharma, biotech or medical device sales; with 5 years successfully hiring, developing and leading teams.

Some element of buy-and-bill, diagnostics (integrated, complex), infusion, neurology, clinical/medical experience.

Additional commercial function experience preferred (i.e. sales training, marketing, managed markets, sales/business analytics, etc.).

Built and executed comprehensive business plans.

Experience and deep understanding of healthcare ecosystems and account management.

Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturer compliance & regulatory requirements.

Demonstrated success in leading to deliver strong results and profitability.

Expertise in U.S. healthcare industry; including understanding of delivery of care, market access and reimbursement landscape.

Demonstrated ability to network and maintain strong business relationships across multidisciplinary matrix team.

Ability to operate a motor vehicle legally, safely and successfully; valid driver’s license required.

Benefits

The annual base salary range for the Area Business Leader, Alzheimer's Disease - (Pittsburgh, PA) is from $191,680-$251,600.
