[Hiring] AgResource Territory Manager @Cargill

Role Description

The AgResource Territory Manager will strive to maximize sales and market share of Crop Protection Products and Seed through Independent Dealer Customers. We seek a results-oriented professional who will provide sales support and business solutions to achieve the assigned goals within the South East Saskatchewan territory.

Key Accountabilities

• Monitor and measure the monthly performance of the objectives versus budget and implement actions to reach them.
• Improve the customer performance by providing in-depth coaching and training.
• Collaborate with market development on activities including development and delivery of sales offers and presentations to channel partners and customers.
• Recognize and calculate return on investment and pursue new market segment and business development opportunities for customers.
• Build profitability through the execution of business plans within territory, prospecting, implementation of campaigns according to seasonality, service and product portfolio.
• Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of four years of related work experience.
• Possess a valid, full Canadian Driver’s Licence in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during the course of your employment.
• Ability to work outside of business hours seasonally.
• Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada.

Requirements

• University degree in Agriculture or Commerce (preferred).
• Relevant knowledge working with seed varieties, pesticides (preferred).
• An active knowledge and use of formal professional selling skills (preferred).
• Advanced computer skills with Microsoft applications (preferred).
• Ability to manage interpersonal relationships (preferred).
• Good communication skills, both oral and written (preferred).
• Able and willing to make decisions independently (preferred).
