Role Description

A leading organization is seeking a Virtual Short-Term Insurance Adviser to provide solution-oriented advice across Commercial and Personal Lines. The successful candidate will build strong, lasting relationships with clients and key stakeholders while identifying opportunities to grow and retain a sustainable client base in a virtual and hybrid environment.

• Provide professional short-term insurance advice tailored to clients' specific risk and insurance needs.
• Service clients and regularly review their portfolios to identify opportunities and ensure ongoing suitability.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, bankers, insurers, and Life Advisers.
• Meet agreed sales, service, and growth targets within a virtual and hybrid advice model.
• Apply sound practice management principles and maintain full compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all advice and intermediary services meet applicable FAIS and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 5 qualification in Short-Term Insurance.
• RE5 with up-to-date Class of Business (COB) requirements.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Commercial Insurance sales.
• FSCA-approved qualification and all applicable FAIS Fit and Proper requirements.
• Relevant experience as required under the FAIS Act.
• Willingness to complete product-specific training and maintain Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
• A demonstrated commitment to honesty, integrity, and good standing.
• Valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
