Role Description
UWorld is currently in search of a talented and competitive Account Executive who will be responsible for growing new business opportunities for the UWorld Accounting & Finance Review division selling directly to colleges & universities in California.
The Account Executive is responsible for partnering with:

Colleges and universities

College instructors
-
Directors of accounting and finance masterโs programs
Key responsibilities include:

Executing all elements of a proactive local sales strategy

Interacting with external clients, prospects, and organizations
-
Providing accurate and updated information regarding UWorld Accounting & Finance Review Products

Supporting and maintaining existing customer base while expanding market presence
-
Executing account-specific presentations, demonstrations, and other strategies
-
Identifying opportunities for new business and growth at existing accounts
-
Developing and executing individualized sales and marketing strategies
The Account Executive will also participate in sales and marketing events at universities and with various accounting groups in the assigned territory. Overnight travel is required for various scenarios including conferences, meetings, and sales presentations.
Qualifications
-
7 years sales experience with a proven history of success

Bachelorโs degree required (MBA preferred) in business, sales, marketing, or related discipline
-
Proven history of meeting or exceeding goals, objectives, and sales quotas in technology or educational technology

Experience working in new verticals is a plus

Must have reliable transportation

Strong knowledge of Salesforce, MS Office, Google, Chrome, etc.

Self-motivated with a high level of initiative

Strong interpersonal skills

Excellent written and oral communications, presentation, and technology skills

Creative, resourceful, meticulous, and highly organized

Ability to travel overnight within an interstate territory
Requirements

Up to 50% travel required
-
Busy travel season: February 1 - June 30; September 1 - November 15

50% of travel is day trips via car
-
50% of travel will require 2- and 3-night trips
-
All travel costs incurred for business are paid for by the company via company credit card
