[Hiring] Account Executive - Field Sales @Flipdish

5d ago - Flipdish is hiring a remote Account Executive - Field Sales. 💸 Salary: unspecified 📍Location: UK

Role Description

We’re looking for a driven, commercially minded Field Sales Account Executive to join our fast-growing Sales team. You’ll own your territory’s new business pipeline end-to-end and represent Flipdish in the field, building relationships with restaurant owners, hospitality groups, and franchise operators.

This is a hands-on, consultative role that combines pipeline ownership with in-person meetings. You’ll uncover how a venue operates today, diagnose problems and growth opportunities, and help prospective customers modernise how they run operations using Flipdish.

  • Own the full sales cycle for your territory - from prospecting and first outreach through discovery, proposals, negotiation, and close.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, balancing warm inbound leads with proactive outbound prospecting.
  • Run compelling face-to-face meetings and tailored demos that clearly link Flipdish’s value to each customer’s commercial and operational goals.
  • Listen, diagnose, and advise - uncover pain points, build a consultative business case, and recommend the right solution and commercial structure.
  • Navigate complex deals with multiple stakeholders, handle objections, and move opportunities forward with pace and professionalism.
  • Challenge poor decisions and propose better ways of working. Constructive challenge is a responsibility - prioritising harmony over truth or progress is a failure of responsibility.

Qualifications

  • Have 2+ years’ experience in sales or business development, ideally in field sales / territory management.
  • Have a track record of building your own outbound pipeline and consistently hitting or exceeding targets.
  • Are confident running consultative conversations - asking the right questions, listening well, and connecting product value to business outcomes.
  • Are highly organised and self-directed - you can plan your territory, manage your time, and follow up without needing constant direction.
  • Are commercially savvy and comfortable discussing pricing, ROI, and contract terms.

Requirements

  • Restaurant experience or restaurant tech experience selling SaaS to SMB restaurants.
  • Strong negotiation skills and evidence of closing mid-market / multi-site opportunities.
  • Familiarity with POS, online ordering, loyalty, or restaurant operations tooling.

Benefits

  • 25 days annual leave + public holidays + company days (e.g. Summer Fridays, seasonal).
  • Private healthcare: UK cover (provided through Vitality Healthcare).
  • Pension: retirement savings support (UK).
  • Equity (ESOP): share options, so you can share in Flipdish’s long-term success.
  • Team connection: regular team meet-ups and company events.
