Role Description
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven remote Account Executive to own and grow our Advanced Technical Support (ATS) and Logistics business within the Enterprise market β including Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Commercial Real Estate (CRE), and Retail. ATS and Logistics brings together Technical Assistance Center (TAC) and help desk support, field and remote technical support, repair, and forward/reverse logistics and spares management into a single offering that keeps critical equipment and facilities running for enterprise customers.
This is an individual contributor, quota-carrying role β not a people-management position. You'll run the full sales cycle yourself, from prospecting and qualifying new enterprise accounts through to closing and expanding relationships with existing customers, acting as a trusted advisor who translates each customer's operations, IT, and logistics challenges into ATS and Logistics solutions.
Qualifications
-
This is an individual contributor role for a hands-on seller, not a sales manager β you'll carry your own quota and territory rather than lead a team.
-
3-5+ years of B2B sales experience in technical services, managed services, facilities/critical infrastructure support, or logistics/supply chain, with a track record of quota attainment as an individual contributor and delivering $2M+ in annual sales.
-
Existing contacts and relationships within one or more of these enterprise verticals β Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, Financial Services, CRE, or Retail.
-
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
-
Comfortable managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and negotiating commercial terms.
-
Self-directed, consultative, and motivated by building long-term customer relationships rather than one-off transactions.
-
Willingness to travel as needed to customer sites, industry events, and trade shows.
-
May require occasional evening or weekend availability for customer events or deadlines.
-
On-call availability is not typically required, though responsiveness to customer needs outside standard hours may be expected.
Requirements
-
Direct experience selling Technical Assistance Center (TAC) or help desk support services, and/or forward and reverse logistics services for equipment deployments or advanced sparing programs.
-
Working knowledge of technical field/remote support services, RMA and repair processes, or spares logistics is a strong plus.
-
Comfortable using AI tools to develop sales strategy, craft messaging, and build proposals, with confidence presenting them to customers.
-
Familiarity with terms like SLA/uptime requirements, mission-critical facilities, OT/IT infrastructure, distribution center operations, and advanced sparing is a plus.
Competency
-
Deal Management: Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from discovery through negotiation and close, while managing multiple opportunities in parallel.
-
Customer Focus: Commitment to understanding each customer's operational and logistics needs and positioning Fortress Solutions as a trusted, long-term partner.
-
Collaboration: Ability to work closely with solutions engineering, operations, and marketing teams to shape offers and deliver on commitments made during the sales process.
-
Adaptability: Flexibility to manage a multi-vertical territory and adjust strategy as market conditions and customer priorities shift.
-
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of pricing, margin, and contract terms, with the judgment to structure deals that are competitive and profitable.
-
Documentation & Reporting: Proficiency in maintaining accurate CRM records, forecasts, and proposal documentation to support accurate pipeline visibility.
-
Continuous Learning: Demonstrated eagerness to stay current on trends across your enterprise verticals, competitive offerings, and new AI-enabled sales tools.
