Role Description
The Account Manager is responsible for fostering and retaining business relationships while driving client growth within the region leveraging professional networks, demonstrating executive presence, and effectively communicating the value of CleverTap's products. This role calls for a strong farming/account management mindset in the SaaS sales environment with a track record of cross sell and upsell.

Own the business targets for the respective account patch and grow business from the designated patch.

Establish and build relationships with key customers to understand their needs and create a compelling value proposition.

Interact with customers, conduct presentations, QBRs, and work through the sales cycle to achieve Q-o-Q sales quota.

Build key account management plans and map decision makers, influencers, and users within the account.

Understand competitive channels that the client is using and incorporate those inputs in the key account plan.

Retain the assigned book of business.

Build a pipeline for current quarter + next quarter.

Negotiate agreements with customers to close deals.

Manage Salesforce data daily with meeting notes, sales funnel updates, etc.

Maintain post-sales interface with customers to build long-term relationships and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

3-7 years of experience in SaaS selling.

Experience in working in a startup with a go-getting, hands-on approach, plugged into a hyper-growing sales organization.

Ability to present and articulate key value propositions to CXOs, decision makers, and influencers in the assigned account with excellent communication skills in a B2B setup.

Conceptual understanding of APIs, Webhooks, SDKs, Cloud, and SaaS technologies.

Proven experience in account management and growing the business in existing accounts in the India region.

Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.

Organizational and time-management skills.
Requirements

Good understanding of the MarTech domain is preferred.

Number-driven approach towards accounts, targets, regional planning, and retention rates is helpful.

Knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
