Role Description
The Account Executiveโs role is in sales and is responsible for selling products and services through the achievement of opportunity-based sales. The position requires the employee to reach their business targets through effective management of designated territories and physical visits to customer sites. The individual will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image with integrity and passion. The successful candidate will communicate with staff, customers, partners, manufacturers, and distribution.
Qualifications

Ideally you live in the DC or FL market.

5+ years Business to Government (B2G) experience calling on or working with the DoW, USAF or other Federal agencies is required.

Experience with USAF organizational structure is required.

Experience/familiarity with USAF procurement methodology.

Experience with quoting for DoW customers.

Experience presenting features and benefits of comparable products.

Ability to accurately apply pricing, calculate gross profit and discounts to preserve margin.

Knowledge of telecom/IT industry highly desirable.

Strong level of experience with MS Office (Word and Excel) required.

Experience with CRM systems is highly desirable.

BS/BA in Business or Technology discipline highly desirable.

Must have appropriate security clearance (minimum of Secret).
Requirements

Lead and/or coordinate with a team of sales, technical and support staff for Epochโs Selected U.S. Air Force business mission areas.

Must establish working relationships at all levels (e.g. manager/director levels) of Partners and Providers.

Develop and maintain customer relationships at all levels within the designated territory and related FSIs.

Identify and close opportunities within the designated territories.

Develop and maintain vendor relationships with Epochโs top vendors.
-
Identify new prospective customers within the assigned geographic regions.

Respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Quotes (RFQs).

Meet or exceed assigned sales target within the assigned geographic regions.
