[Hiring] Account Executive @VIAVI Solutions

Role Description

Based in United Kingdom, you will report to the Director of Sales EMEA Labs & Production. Representing selected parts of our Lab & Production solutions, including the High-Speed Ethernet (HSE) portfolio, you'll partner with a diverse customer base. Applying GTM strategy to both direct account management and in-direct selling via our local sales channel partners, you'll target key customers within:

• Manufacturing
• Technology solutions providers
• Telco & Data Centre Networking
• Optical Components
• Cyber Security domains

Furthermore, with the experience you have gained in selling Test & Measurement solutions, you will be well positioned to successfully command the entire sales process from prospecting to closing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or University degree e.g. in the field of Optics, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications/ Communications Engineering or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in direct account selling and management.
• Experience in working with sales channels combined with demonstrated success in achieving and overcoming set goals regularly.
• Good listening skills and ability to move customer mindset from their challenges in understanding the value we can offer them.
• Technical working experience and/or understanding of the IP /Optical high-speed networking fundamentals, underlying technologies, and market drivers.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to establish and effectively maintain relationships with customers and sales channels; ability to develop and implement joint strategies and build synergistic win-win relationships.
• Willingness to travel within the region, up to 50% of the time.
