Role Description

This role involves managing a territory and maximizing revenue for Thales products.

  • Detect and create new opportunities for assigned region
  • Generate accurate and realistic sales forecasts
  • Deliver consistent revenue performance and growth
  • Look for breakout revenue opportunities
  • Revenue responsibility can range from $1M to $2M annually

The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will be responsible for:

  • Managing, developing, and growing strategic prospects and existing customer relationships
  • Identifying, qualifying, and quantifying all opportunities within an assigned region
  • Leading sales efforts
  • Developing and delivering accurate and technically correct sales presentations to potential customers
  • Managing all aspects of the sales cycle, including prospecting and developing customer relationships
  • Implementing account plans
  • Delivering on set objectives to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Working with sales support staff, pre and post sales staff to further customer relationships
  • Forecasting, tracking territory opportunities, and closing deals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field of study, or equivalent work experience
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Sales within the IT industry and Data Security solutions
  • Prior experience selling software products and/or subscription selling working directly with F2000 accounts
  • Experience managing all aspects of the sales cycle
  • Experience working with multi-element revenue models, including one-time and recurring revenue streams
  • Capable of closing complicated deals from discovering sales opportunities to contract completion
  • Able to up-sell existing accounts and proactively identify and acquire new customers
  • Comfortable participating in highly technical discussions

Requirements

  • This position will require successfully completing a post-offer background check
