About the Role:
The Account Executive aims to drive profitable sales growth using advanced sales skills, industry knowledge, and business acumen. You will build an effective account strategy to develop key strategic client relationship(s), maintaining contact with the account(s) at a high, often executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship. You will manage sales activities at prospects nationally for named accounts to generate sales of turnkey microgrid solutions.
This position requires a driven and talented sales professional with proven abilities to identify and engage with decision-makers, build a pipeline by navigating highly matrixed organizations, utilities specifically, to source new application opportunities, negotiate technical requirements with multiple tiers of decision-makers and stakeholders, and exceed sales targets by efficiently orchestrating procurement processes – RFP solicitations, Proposals, and Contracting. You will have experience successfully leveraging a regulatory strategy as part of your sales process, including interacting with utility commissions, regulators, stakeholders, and government agencies. You will be successful in this role by analyzing data gathered through the organization to determine sales potential, industry segments to focus on, and fast growth areas to maximize sales opportunities. Excellence standards extend to collaboration across functions to provide direction, implement changes that drive sales growth, and advocate for delivery excellence standards to maintain strategic account alignment.
This role can be performed remotely or at BoxPower HQ in Grass Valley, CA.
