Role Description

We are looking for a passionate, motivated, high-performing Strategic Account Executive with experience selling data driven SaaS technology. The ideal candidate historically meets and exceeds quota, thrives on winning and is willing to take the necessary steps to get there including but not limited to:

  • Aggressively prospecting
  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of 4X quota
  • Strategically navigating through organizations to get in front of key decision makers

This role will focus on an assigned territory and be open to travel within the region as needed.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution for products and services within Tealium’s product suite, particularly focusing on Data Sources and Destinations (Tags, API Integrations, etc.)
  • Qualifying, building, and managing an accurate sales pipeline working accounts in your assigned territory
  • Maintaining a high volume of activity including outbound calls, emails, and social selling
  • Prospecting into enterprise-sized companies with a focus on generating new business
  • Delivering web-based sales presentations, illustrating strong product knowledge and sales best practices
  • Strategically focusing and targeting your territory to close new business, leveraging support staff and providing direction and guidance to your sales prospecting team
  • Maintaining a strong level of proficiency in all products, including the target buyer, product positioning, major benefits and features, as well as the skills to communicate those benefits to customers
  • Ensuring 100% customer satisfaction with all prospective customers

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full cycle SaaS sales experience in a Digital Marketing or Big Data/Analytics environment (CDP highly preferred)
  • Proven success penetrating new markets and closing new business
  • Technically adept, self-motivated, and driven by results
  • Ability to accurately forecast based upon realistic opportunity assessments
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Administration required
  • Ability to travel up to 40% for occasional offsite prospect and client meetings, trade shows, conferences, etc.
