Role Description

This position is responsible for developing and executing the strategic plan to foster growth and enhancement of the Transportation Provider network to support the evolving demands in transportation services.

  • Focus on recruiting new transportation providers
  • Effectively manage the contracting process
  • Maintain positive growth relationships within the existing provider network
  • Cultivate relationships and identify growth opportunities for national transportation providers
  • Support the implementation of growth and development plans for the transportation network in collaboration with the capacity and planning team
  • Standardize capacity models to enhance efficiency within the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) provider network
  • Collaborate with community-based organizations to establish partnerships and explore alternative transportation options
  • Contribute to the development of responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and may participate in presentations
  • Assist in formulating strategic business recommendations related to transportation network development
  • Engage in negotiations with transportation providers and maintain positive relationships with business partners
  • Facilitate communication across departments regarding transportation network development opportunities
  • Support market research efforts to understand transportation dynamics, client requirements, and local government regulations
  • Contribute to the execution of strategies for both the growth and quality of the transportation provider network
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and contribute to growth and revenue goals
  • Assist in developing procedures and policies for evaluating contract agreements
  • Participate in identifying key providers and support the team in maintaining relationships with transportation providers
  • Ensure timely engagement of new transportation providers and address concerns or inquiries promptly
  • Utilize basic analytics to review network costs and performance
  • Assist in resolving provider escalations in a timely manner
  • Participate in incorporating data insights to develop basic metrics for transportation provider service quality
  • Support cross-functional projects and initiatives by contributing to key milestones and project plans

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Five (5) plus years experience in account management, NEMT, and/or transportation
  • One (1) plus years’ experience in medical, specialty and/or disability transportation management
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Government contracting experience preferred
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the healthcare landscape, including Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), Medicare, Medicaid, and Health Systems
