[Hiring] Sourcing Lead @Stryker

Role Description

• Develop and implement strategies and goals for assigned commodities in support of overall divisional business objectives.
• Develop and implement processes to build a best-in-class strategic sourcing organization.
• Negotiate favorable long-term supply contracts and serve as the escalation point in resolving supplier challenges.
• Partner with Global Category teams in creation and implementation of global category strategies.
• Perform cost analysis and Mako vs Buy analysis as required.
• Support budget, cost roll and financial projection processes.
• Develop strong relationships with key suppliers as well as other disciplines within the businesses.
• Identify supply base risk, develop and implement mitigation plans.
• Obtain and communicate market condition information and technology trends related to commodities and suppliers.
• Support related cost controls and business strategy plans.
• Support establishment and achievement of cost standards for annual operating budgets.
• Support development of scorecards and business reviews for key suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field required.
• 4 years of relevant professional experience required, experience in supply management highly preferred.
• Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry experience, highly preferred.
• Influencing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to negotiate effectively to obtain best prices and terms on products, materials, and services.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within all levels of the organization.
• Ability to recognize risks and propose and develop contingency plans.
• Ability to read, interpret and translate engineering drawings preferred.
