Role Description

The HDIS Sales Manager (SM) is responsible for creating a high performing selling culture through:

• Store connectivity
• Development/coaching of team
• Sales Consultant staffing
• Delivering world class customer service

The SM leads a team of commissioned Sales Consultants to close sales of Home Depot Installation Services (HDIS) product lines. Responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining relationships with store management and associates
• Updating/training on HDIS product offerings
• Driving lead generation efforts in the stores
• Managing Sales Consultants through the employment life cycle
• Understanding, analyzing, and prioritizing business metrics
• Ensuring the sales team delivers world class customer service

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States

Requirements

• 3 years of work experience
• 3 years of leadership experience

Key Responsibilities

• 20% - Analyze and prioritize business metrics
• 20% - Drive customer service
• 20% - Drive lead generation
• 20% - Drive Store connectivity
• 20% - Recruit, coach and manage

Direct Manager/Direct Reports

• This Position typically reports to the Field Director Services
• This Position has up to 5+ Direct Reports

Travel Requirements

• Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time

Physical Requirements

• Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion
• Activities include walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting material or equipment

Working Conditions

• Typically located in a comfortable indoor area
• Regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes, or odors
• Temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights may be present

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing effective sales teams
• Demonstrated ability to create and sustain a high-performance selling culture

• High school diploma and/or GED
