Role Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in supporting the sales department by managing administrative tasks, ensuring smooth sales operations, and assisting in customer interactions.
- Assist the sales team in preparing reports, tracking performance metrics, and maintaining records.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, creating spreadsheets, and generating sales reports.
- Conduct research on potential clients, projects, and market trends using Dodge Construction.
- Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems such as Pipedrive.
- Support client communications by responding to inquiries and coordinating follow-ups.
- Ensure organized documentation of sales transactions, contracts, and relevant materials.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline sales processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in a sales support role or administrative position.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
- Experience using Pipedrive or other CRM systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of Dodge Construction or familiarity with the construction industry is an advantage.
