Role Description
This role involves creating and maintaining customer relationships resulting in sales of products and/or services. This is a B2B sales position with a focus on the early education and multi-family markets in Alabama and Georgia, along with parks and rec, camping, college campus, and other markets using our products and services.
- Identify potential customers and key decision makers through self-driven online research, cold calling, relationship building, and email efforts.
- Coordinate sales activities within sales territory, company division, or product line.
- Collaborate with established and prospective customers to identify appropriate solutions for their current needs and establish future opportunities.
- Coordinate with project management team to ensure accurate and timely proposals and revisions.
- Record customer interaction and progress in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Continuously educate on product knowledge.
- Provide superior customer service and support throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Analyze sales data to detect trends and anticipate needs.
- Assist with creation or revisions of price schedules, discount rates, and other metrics affecting gross profit.
- Prepare required reports regularly.
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Sales.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of experience in a sales role with a proven sales track record required.
- Located in the Atlanta, GA metro area.
- Knowledge of marketing strategy, sales techniques, and sales systems required.
- First-hand, seasoned experience prospecting in the multifamily market is required.
- Ability to build presentation and marketing materials and provide impactful sales pitches to varied audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Experience working in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software preferred.
- Competencies utilized: active listening, critical thinking, decision making, negotiation, persuasion, communication, service orientation, problem solving, time management, attention to detail.
Requirements
- 30% - 50% domestic travel required with the Region IV territory plus Georgia.
- Applicants chosen for employment will be required to submit to a criminal background check and drug screening.
