Role Description
This role involves working directly with customers on offers and sales of FreedomPay solutions, services, and products. This is a HUNTER role focused on acquiring new business.
- Identify new opportunities (self-sourced) within FreedomPay’s core verticals
- Present the benefits of FreedomPay solutions, services, and products
- Negotiate and close deals with Midmarket and SMB merchants
- Execute on sales meetings
- Establish relationships with ISV’s, ISO’s, and PSP’s that have reach into the Midmarket and SMB segments
- Analyze and report on local market activities, industry developments (technical, legal, etc.) whilst also providing competitor insight
- Learn the details of the platform and services we provide, both technically and from clients’ perspective
- Ability to demonstrate the ROI of FreedomPay solutions, services, and products
- Create and maintain relationships with potential clients
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in software sales, specifically in a Hunter role within the payments and FinTech world
- Excellent verbal and written communications – English is essential, whilst other language skills are helpful
- Strong Networking and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter, quick learner, high energy
- Capable of understanding client requests and key discussion topics, then translating them into an appropriate deliverable
- Strong time management and organizational skills. Comfortable working in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of E-Commerce and Digital Payment Platforms preferred
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- Ability to travel as needed
