[Hiring] Loan Officer @New Silver
Mar 31, 2025 - New Silver is hiring a remote Loan Officer. 💸 Salary: $100,000 - $200,000+ per year (salary plus commission). 📍Location: USA.
Role Description
You will have a key role in our fast-paced organization. You will work with prospective borrowers to help explain our loan programs, answer their questions, ensure there is a good mutual fit and explain the closing process.
- Work within our proprietary HQ software
- Interact with clients over the phone, text, and email
- Advise clients, move loans along, and help them close the loan
- Looking for a highly motivated, client-centric individual who loves making lots of money
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of successful professional experience as a loan originator or loan officer in the commercial and non-owner occupied residential real estate space (adjacent experience can be considered)
- Highly motivated
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Experience with office technology such as Microsoft Office and G-Suite
- Outstanding verbal and written skills that enable you to provide an excellent customer experience with borrowers and business partners
Requirements
- Understand and be able to clearly explain New Silver's value proposition, products, and process
- Drive sales with a consultative approach
- Meet and beat monthly sales goals (expected origination volume $5mm+ per month)
- Build relationships with borrowers and earn repeat business
- Speak with borrowers on the phone, via email, and SMS
- Be available after 5pm and have flexibility to accommodate clients
- Ability to spend 1 day per week in the West Hartford office
