Role Description

Underground Solutions, Inc (UGS) is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support our PVC fusion and pipe technologies. The position is remote but you must reside in the Western Part of the United States.

  • Focus on lead generation and improving and developing sales revenue and margin with existing and new customers
  • Work closely with our Regional Sales Managers and Engineers to identify, develop, and close business opportunities to help achieve or exceed sales and margin targets for the region
  • Support and grow existing customer account relationships and develop new customer relationships
  • Generate technical proposals and submittals to consulting engineers, utilities, and contractors
  • Prepare detailed plan and specification reviews and take-offs
  • Maintain and expand sales leads within our CRM (Salesforce)
  • Analyze early lead detection data to find and build future opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Civil), Business or Marketing, is preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1 year inside or outside sales experience required with preference selling technical products in the municipal and/or industrial water or power industries
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as presentation and time management skills are required
  • Maintain a high-quality work product, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a results-driven culture
  • Strong computer skills with MS Office products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint / Nitro, and Outlook
  • Ambitious self-starter with a strong work ethic, good organizational skills, attention to detail, and dedication to a team environment
