[Hiring] Fire Protection Sales Specialist @Victaulic

Role Description

In this outside sales role, you will:

• BECOME THE EXPERT
  • Learn all about Victaulic’s products and the solutions we provide for customers.
  • Understand competitive methods of joining pipe, such as welding and flanging.
  • Integrate into local trade organizations and professional associations.
  • Work with your Regional Sales Manager to develop a business plan, including opportunity mapping and sales goals.
  • Execute all phases of project pursuit and project management to secure purchase orders.
• BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS
  • Develop relationships and build trust with mechanical contractors, engineers, and building/project owners.
  • Spend time with customers, including evenings or weekends for social events.
  • Partner with Victaulic distributors and manage a balanced distribution network.
• EDUCATE AND INFLUENCE
  • Learn about customer needs and educate them on the value of utilizing Victaulic products.
  • Conduct tool demos or training on proper installation techniques on job sites.
  • Present lunch and learn sessions for engineers to educate them on our products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous sales experience selling “value added” products/services, preferably in the commercial construction or PVF industry.
• Demonstrated achievements in sales and a history of developing long-standing relationships.
• Competitive nature with flexibility and resiliency.
• Self-motivated and self-driven to achieve success.
• Professional image and engaging personality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Solid project management skills.

Requirements

• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Capability to handle equipment weighing up to 50+ pounds.
