Role Description
MarketStar currently has an opportunity available for a Field Business Development Representative role supporting our new AMD-HP Alliance team. The Field Business Development Representative will be responsible for strategy, developing relationships, and driving sales within enterprise and commercial accounts.
What Will You Do?
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts to expand AMD’s market presence.
- Provide answers to client and server-related pre-sales questions for account managers and customers.
- Regular onsite visits to assigned clients to develop and grow relationships.
- Own and manage a pipeline of client and server opportunities within the accounts that identifies revenue and strategic markets and/or customers.
- Follow up on client and server bid opportunities with clients.
- Promote the use of tools that may include but are not limited to online training, bid desk, trade-in programs, value-add promotions, and other sales incentive programs.
- Provide regular feedback on the effectiveness of the tools as issues arise.
- Conduct client and/or server-sponsored floor days, tabletops (if applicable and allowed by all necessary parties), and any other duties as assigned.
- Acquire and analyze monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting to recognize areas of strength and opportunities for growth and deliver a trend analysis monthly.
Qualifications
- Sales background to present value propositions and solutions to customers.
- Understanding of technological solutions to provide accurate information.
- Experience working with partners like OEM partners.
- Technical pre-sales experience.
- Proven experience conducting group presentations or training.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
