Role Description
This role involves supporting the AMD-HP Alliance team as an FED DOD Sales Specialist.
- Enable the go-to-market strategy and develop customer relationships.
- Drive sales within the Federal Civilian space in partnership with HPI.
- Acquire new Federal DOD accounts through outcome-based sales methodologies.
- Develop a comprehensive territory GTM strategy including engagement across HP’s and AMD’s sellers and FED VARs.
- Coordinate and own account plans for strategic FED accounts, focusing on larger deals.
- Encourage HPI and VAR sales reps/account managers to quote HPI-AMD Client device products more frequently.
- Own and manage a pipeline of HPI-AMD Client device opportunities within FED civilian accounts.
- Follow up on HPI-AMD Client device bid opportunities with FED VARs where applicable.
- Deliver AMD growth targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Leverage available partner resources to maximize close percentage.
- Provide regular feedback on the effectiveness of the tools.
- Conduct HPI-AMD Client device sponsored engagement (if applicable).
- Acquire and analyze monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting to recognize areas of strength and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
- Solid experience with DOD, FED & Civilian sales.
- College degree in business or a related field preferred.
- Strong experience conducting group presentations or training.
- Understanding of distribution and VAR channel and the ability to learn quickly.
- Time management and organization skills.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
