Role Description

We’re looking for an experienced and results-driven Commercial Manager - Fruit & Vegetable Ingredients. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing key customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the efficient sourcing of raw materials and purchase of traded items.

Manage key B2B customer relationships, including food manufacturers, beverage producers, and industrial clients with a focus on German, Austrian and Italian markets
Handle negotiations, pricing, and contract agreements to drive profitability
Work closely with R&D and technical teams to support customers in product development and innovation projects
Stay on top of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
Build and maintain relationships with growers, processors, and suppliers worldwide
Ensure quality, cost efficiency, and sustainability in procurement processes
Monitor commodity pricing, supply risks, and logistics to optimize sourcing decisions
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
Ensure cross-functional alignment between sales, supply chain, quality and operations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Business, or a related field
8+ years of experience in sales, sourcing, or procurement in the food ingredients industry
Proven track record in B2B sales and supplier management
Experience in international trade, import/export, or commodity sourcing
Strong understanding of fruit and vegetable ingredients (such as concentrates, purees, dried or frozen products) and their particular seasonality
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
A proactive, independent, and results-driven mindset
Fluent in English and German; additional European languages are a plus
