Role Description
This role involves expanding our Commercial and Mid-Market partner ecosystem as a Channel Sales Manager.
- Manage the sale of Five9 products and services through named national (potentially global) partners
- Drive a business plan to scale services and develop a robust partner ecosystem
- Develop an enablement strategy to attract, develop, and maintain relationships with distributors, resellers, or agents
- Build preference for Five9’s customer experience/contact center software within partners’ portfolios
- Drive global sales results and pipeline development within key national (global) partners
- Drive partner enablement throughout the entire customer journey lifecycle
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and expand critical relationships within named partners to enhance Five9’s solutions
- Help expand the partner community within the Americas to accelerate growth
- Develop, retain, and own Five9’s strategic relationships within partners
- Develop and execute plans to promote partner branding and ensure Five9 is the first option for contact center solutions
- Align closely with Five9 Sales to elevate partner visibility internally and externally
- Develop Partner Training and Enablement program and certification
- Align closely with Sales and Channel to close customer opportunities
- Structure and negotiate partnership agreements for incremental value
- Develop detailed operational plans with partners including engagement models and sales targets
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software sales, partner development, or business development within a cloud-based environment
- Proven experience working in a dynamic team focused on building exponential growth
- Strong operational and analytical skills
- Ability to describe trends and provide insight from KPIs
- Strong strategic thinking with a penchant for action and results
- Excellent project management and creative problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills, including public speaking and professional writing
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
Requirements
- Emphasis on software sales
- A demonstrated ability to establish, maintain, and grow business relationships
Desired Skills
- Experience with and knowledge of Contact Center solutions and/or VoIP
- Experience with National Partners and/or Service Providers in cloud collaboration – CcaaS, UCaaS preferred
- Experience managing partnerships with consulting firms or systems integrators for enterprise SaaS solutions
