Role Description

This is a permanent, full time homebased position, working a 37 hour week, flexibly between 07:00 – 19:00.

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for identification and growth of PSS services to achieve business plan with allocated markets/clients, covering both UK and Ireland. Collation and mapping of prospective business opportunities across different service areas throughout UK and Ireland.

Job Responsibilities

  • Account Development planning.
  • Analysis of clients’ organisation and activities to assess potential requirements for Eurofins PSS.
  • Continual development of knowledge of the insourcing strategy of assigned clients.
  • Develop medium and long term strategies to maximize opportunities for analytical and technical services.
  • Collaboration with counterparts from other sites and business units.
  • Understanding the potential for PSS services and establishing knowledge of Senior clients and decision makers.
  • Support provision of on time, high quality proposals that present optimum solutions for clients.
  • Management of contractual processes including Confidentiality agreements, Preferred provider / Master Services agreements / pricing agreements.
  • Provision of account, activity and market status reports as required.
  • Ensure adherence to co-employment relationships with client services.
  • Collate and maintain tracker of client contacts, successful contact establishment and client facing opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Degree Level or Equivalent in relevant subject or demonstrable relevant business experience.
  • Finance/business training desirable.
  • Some knowledge of the GMP / GLP analytical services including pharmaceutical chemistry and routine QC testing would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of product commercialization and manufacturing/supply chain process for clients and markets.
  • Knowledge of regulatory authorities, guidelines and quality systems relating to all services.
  • Teamwork, management organization, and ability to influence across functions.
  • Proven networking skills, able to network internally and externally.
  • Ability to influence and demonstrate professional business acumen.
  • Capable of contributing to the strategic direction of the business.
  • Good communication skills both internally and externally.
