Role Description

As a Business Development Manager (f/m/d) - UK I Construction at Instagrid, you shape a more sustainable future by bringing pure energy into your region, helping professional workers transition away from combustion generators and making it possible for them to experience a safe, efficient, clean, and silent energy solution.

  • Driving New Business: Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across the UK construction market. Take full ownership of the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Portfolio Building: Develop a strategic approach to building and growing a portfolio of high-value clients within the construction space by leveraging industry knowledge and market trends.
  • Bringing a Hunter Mindset: Lead with a hunter mentality, consistently seeking out new opportunities and establishing relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the industry.
  • Executing Sales Strategies: Implement and adapt company sales strategies to the regional market, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and strong long-term client relationships.
  • Managing Pipelines: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, monitoring performance metrics and adjusting tactics as necessary to improve sales results.
  • Influencing the Market: Establish yourself as a thought leader in the construction and energy sectors, engaging with key stakeholders, attending industry events, and staying ahead of market trends.
  • Collaborating & Reporting: Provide regular updates on market insights, customer feedback, and sales performance, working closely with internal teams to optimize our value proposition.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in sales, ideally within the construction industry, showcasing your ability to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Strong technical understanding and familiarity with our product portfolio, enabling you to effectively communicate its value to customers.
  • Committed to continuous self-improvement and process optimization, actively seeking opportunities to enhance your skills and contribute to the success of our team.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, backed by engaging presentations that captivate and persuade potential clients.
  • Willingness to travel to conduct on-site visits with customers, fostering strong relationships and understanding their needs firsthand.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English, ensuring clear and effective communication with clients and colleagues.
