Role Description
As a Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Converting prospects into successful customers through customer sales methods such as door-to-door, cold calling and presentations.
- Forecasting sales and developing sales strategies and methods evaluating their effectiveness.
- Acting as a representative for the organisation during customer meetings and presentations.
- Maintaining customer accounts and records of sales.
- Reporting and providing feedback to management.
Our standard working hours are Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm and Friday: 9:00am-3:00pm. Yes, you read that right, no evenings, no weekends and an early finish on a Friday!
Qualifications
- Impressive track record in a sales role
- Confidence with a consultative sell
- Success in new business development and client acquisition
Requirements
- Great confidence and the ability to accept rejection and maintain a positive mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Active listening skills and the ability to understand the customer’s needs
- Ability to manage own workload and diary effectively using own initiative
- Proficiency with computer software and Microsoft Office
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- In-depth understanding of an organisation’s products and unique selling facts
- Excellent data analysis skills
- Full clean UK driving licence with the flexibility and willingness to travel throughout the UK when appropriate and able
