Role Description
We are looking for a Business Development Executive to work closely with our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
- Schedule virtual or in-person appointments/meetings and demonstrate products and services as deemed necessary by clients and management while answering questions from clients.
- Prepare sales proposals and present or share them with customers.
- Maintain relationships with important clients by making regular calls, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.
- Negotiate/close deals, maintain customer satisfaction, and handle complaints or objections.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams.
- Update the sales funnel on a daily basis and update Management on weekly sales meetings.
- Ensure flawless daily workflow and the ability to properly track calls, follow up, and set appointments.
- Conduct various market research to identify potential business partnerships, market segments, and lead generation channels.
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans.
Qualifications
- A passion for Business Development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A Diploma or higher-level qualification in marketing, business, or related field.
- Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in the business development field (Preferably in the Digital/IT sector).
- Excellent negotiation and networking skills.
- Good project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Ability to think on your feet and communicate well.
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on a company’s success.
