Role Description

The Admissions Team Lead is accountable for achieving or surpassing student start target objectives within designated Keypath Academic Partners. Their responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Offering proactive coaching support
  • Troubleshooting at-risk issues to support student success
  • Collaborating with the Admissions Manager to implement new processes
  • Delivering training and coaching to Advisors
  • Motivating the team through daily/weekly/monthly initiatives

Responsibilities will include the following (not limited to):

  • People Leadership
    • Coach and develop your team to meet study period targets by setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and supporting professional growth.
    • Effectively manage employee issues and escalate concerns to your leader where appropriate.
    • Champion and promote a positive and collaborative environment where team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
    • Facilitate the rollout of induction training with your leaders to identify ongoing learning and development.
    • Create, nurture, and retain top talent through active coaching and management.
    • Be aware of and/or involved in recruitment initiatives to support identifying top talent.
  • Performance & Operations
    • Drive the team’s day-to-day management to meet and exceed KPIs/targets while maintaining a positive student experience.
    • Maintain and manage processes and protocols (SOPs, training materials, etc.) by utilizing your subject matter expertise.
    • Proactively gather and routinely share comprehensive insights to inform and enhance student-centric operational strategies.
    • Support your leaders to solve partner-level business challenges through collaborative learning and critical thinking.
    • Propose process and procedure enhancements aligned with best practices and be a change champion.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Manage internal stakeholder relationships effectively.
    • Be a strong collaborator and communicator with other Team Leaders, Account Management, Marketing, Student Success, and partners.

Qualifications

  • Higher education or similar
  • Demonstrated strong sales and customer service experience
  • Demonstrated coaching experience
  • Exposure in driving operational performance
  • Proven record of accomplishment in a sales-oriented setting
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving work environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
  • Experience within the Education Industry is highly valued
  • Exposure to data analysis
  • Employs the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and telephony systems daily to direct Advisor activities
  • Highly developed computer literacy, including the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding listening and comprehension skills

Requirements

  • Adaptability to accommodate varying shifts across a range of hours
  • Occasional travel may be required
