Role Description
Our Partnership team focuses on acquiring brand partners and driving revenue growth within existing and new partnerships across the BiggerPockets portfolio.
- Prospecting, pitching and closing a high volume of new partners to drive net-new revenue for BiggerPockets digital properties through consultative selling.
- Relationship management, including upselling and renewing business within existing partnerships.
- Performing strategic planning and ownership of your own book of business including account prioritization, organization and forecasting.
- Exceed personal and team revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Educate potential brand partners on BiggerPockets ad offerings, weaving together multiplatform activations across audio, branded content, events, newsletters, & video sponsorships.
- Understand and utilize specific data and audience insights that define BiggerPockets audience.
- Prospect & outreach to stakeholders within the assigned responsibility.
- Forecast, track and report on sales performance, meeting quarterly targets set by management.
Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years of integrated media sales experience (minimum of 2+ years sales experience in digital media, advertising, or marketing role) with an emphasis on selling branded content.
- Fluent in driving multiple streams of revenue across Newsletters, Podcasts, Social, Events, Content Creators and Video platforms.
- History of meeting and exceeding sales quotas as a result of the sale of complex deals.
- Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Strong foundation in client presentations and meetings.
- Thorough understanding of the full sales cycle and digital media operations.
- Ability to lead and close a full partnership sales process, creating tailored partner proposals.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Ambitious, resourceful and driven.
- Passion for and belief in BiggerPockets, its mission and its franchises and products.
Requirements
- This role has a base salary of $70,000 + commissions.
- Potential earnings in your first year are estimated to be between $100,000 - $300,000.
