Role Description

The Research Interventionalist is a member of the Center for Research and Scholarly Development (CRDS) in the School of Nursing at Vanderbilt University and is a skilled scientific professional responsible for direct outreach, bilingual communication, and administrative support, offering hands-on experience in participant recruitment and community-engaged research. This community-based study focuses on Korean-based recruitment. This is a part-time, flex position that is fully remote.

• Conduct weekly interventions with participants via chat in Korean or English.
• Maintain a research diary, manage communications for participant payments and Fitbit distribution, and coordinate with the Principal Investigator (PI), Coordinator, and peer interventionalists.
• Engage in recruitment activities to support the study.

Qualifications

• A current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the US is required.
• Fluency in Korean and English (spoken and written).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Zoom, MS Office, Microsoft Teams, etc.
• Ability to work according to participants' schedules in different time zones. Flexibility and adaptability are essential.

Requirements

• This position does not have supervisory responsibility.
• Reports administratively and functionally to the Principal Investigator.
