Role Description
As a Research Assistant at FullScale, you will support qualitative and quantitative data management and analysis for K-12 research projects. The role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with complex and imperfect datasets, and the ability to follow structured protocols while collaborating closely with researchers. Key Responsibilities

Support data analysis for two projects involving the preparation of qualitative and quantitative datasets that range in complexity.

FullScale is leading a multi-state study that draws on interview and survey data gathered across 6-9 U.S. schools. Key responsibilities include:

Cleaning and structuring survey data and qualitative transcripts

Preparing and merging survey and demographic datasets
-
Generating summary statistics and basic analytic outputs

Supporting mixed-methods integration across data sources

Reporting and dissemination support, including development of data visualizations

FullScale is leading a second multi-state study that draws on a constellation of complex, multi-site student outcomes, focus group and adult interview data across 10 U.S. schools. Key responsibilities include:

Developing cross-site data documentation

Managing SIS and student outcome data intake
-
Cleaning, standardizing, and merging multi-site qualitative and quantitative datasets
-
Maintaining codebooks and decision logs
-
Producing summary statistics by site and subgroup
-
Reporting and dissemination support, including development of data visualizations

This is a six-month, part-time Research Assistant role, starting the week of June 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2026.

This part-time role will not exceed 8 hours in a single workday or 35 hours in a single workweek, but no more than a total of 520 hours during this project.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience, with an expected hourly rate in a competitive range for early-career research support roles.
