Role Description

This role is responsible for reviewing the overall architecture of hardware, software, and networking systems by composing a slightly complex test plan script, executing the tests, documenting the results, and analyzing the output. This role also works with Test & Defect Management tools, Test automation tools, and scripting languages to complete basic tasks. Must understand the requirements and perform moderately complex design and development, maintenance of the automation & manual test suites as per project needs. Additionally, this role performs automated and manual test execution for functional, application, regression, and integration tests.

We are looking for a Software Dev Engineer who will:

• Review and analyze overall architecture of slightly complex hardware, software, and networking systems by composing detailed test plan scripts ensuring proper requirements coverage, executing the tests, documenting the results, analyzing the output, root cause analysis, and communicating results.
• Work with Test & Defect Management tools, Test automation tools, and scripting languages.
• Understand the requirements and perform automated and manual test execution for functional, application, regression, and integration tests.
• Develop an understanding of the feature’s requirements and how the features are used.
• Keep informed & recommend emerging technologies and product offerings.
• Assist with the rollout of new or upgraded hardware, software, and networking systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technically related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years’ work experience in a testing role with experience creating manual and automated tests.
• Advanced knowledge of continuous integration, automated tools, industry standards, and best practices in test automation.
• Ability to think analytically, solve problems, make decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Bruno, Postman, or SoapUI and familiarity with additional testing frameworks and tools.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt and handle multiple activities with changing priorities simultaneously.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD processes.
• Experience leading test automation initiatives and defining testing strategies for complex systems. Usage of automation tools like Cypress, Storybook, playwright is a plus.
• Experience with test architecture design and framework development.
• Communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English in a business environment is a must.
